Who’s Love Child is Gina Glocksen?

Gina Glocksen chose to sing “Love Child” on American Idol this week. I think it was a good song for her and she did it decently. But it definitely lacked something and she had a hard time hitting the big notes without yelling. I like her but I just don’t think she’s a strong enough singer.
Randy said it wasn’t his favorite, noting the pitch problems and saying that it was a little boring and he didn’t feel much from her. Paula said that she is much better than she did tonight, noting the annunciation and pitch problems, as well as the shouting. Simon said you just can’t say much about the performance, saying it wasn’t great or bad, but it was a forgettable performance.

How could she sing with the tongue stud? It was so visible tonight! Wonder if it’ll bring her votes or, opposite, stop people from voting for her.
