Jessica Brown audition on American Idol
So, it’s interesting that they should have started off the new season of American Idol profiling Jessica Brown who spoke of her Meth (crystal) addiction and how this almost destroyed her. I mean, isn’t American Idol the television equivalent of methamphetamine? It certainly has all the rush, highs and lows, and has destroyed oh so many lives. . .
Well, I guess Jesus took her wheel and brought her back to her former self. And, I’m glad s/he did because Jessica did a great job with her rendition of The Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand By You.”
Paula said it was nice. Simon said she made the song interesting and it was a good audition. Randy said “pitchy but not bad.” - Could it have been more than 30 seconds into the season that Randy throws that out?
Anyway, I wonder if Jessica can tell us whether the receiving the Golden Ticket to Hollywood felt anything like her former drug of choice?
Did you notice the text on the screen was messed up and they called her “Cecelia Fleet?”
