Alaina Whitaker chose to sing “Stronger” by Faith Hill for her audition on American Idol. First let’s just acknowledge that Alaina is a very beautiful and seemingly sweet young woman. She also belted out a pretty powerful rendition of Faith’s song.

Simon said that it was a good audition and that she is a good singer but that she is not as good as she thinks she is. Paula said she had a great instrument but that she should work on her breathy-ness. They put her through though.
