ok, there’s no denying that ace young from los angeles & boulder is a hot little cutiepie and he sings pretty good too. but, didn’t you know that as soon as he walked in to the audition and cracked a smile at paula that he he would be her new boy? you could see her steaming up when he was singing to her. afterall, “he’s got the chops!” simon, of course, was unimpressed. . . we’ll see what happens in hollywood.
So of course they only profile the people who are going to do very well. But Lisa Tucker at 16 years old did a great job singing Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time” in the auditions in Denver. And can you believe Simon says that she was the best 16 year old that they have ever had in the competition? . . and he usually LOATHES the 16 year olds because they are so immature. Well, I think she was definitely very good, but I don’t know if she was the best 16 year old ever. . makes me wish that i had a DVR over the last 5 years. No doubt though that Lisa Tucker will be sailing on to American Idol stardom and Hollywood and we will be sailing along with her. Well, ok maybe not stardom, but certainly 15 minutes. . .
