Frankie Jordan is a dark haired beauty and single mother who exuded a great deal of confidence during her American Idol audition. She chose to sing an Amy Winehouse song and she did it pretty much like Amy does. She had a nice voice with a soulful style.
Simon said that he liked her voice and her face. Paula agreed and sent her through. All the rest sent her through to Hollywood too.

Here’s a nice interview with David Osmond about how he felt when he learned he would be progressing to the Hollywood section of American Idol.
Formerly wheelchair bound, David Osmond, sang a Take Six song called “Something Within Me” for his American Idol audition. Yes, he is related to THE Osmonds. He is a total cutie with a very sweet sounding voice. I think he did a good job.
Paula said that she was a little concerned that he picked a group with multiple harmonies instead of a solo artist and that he needed to think of himself as a soloist. Randy said it was alright. Kara echoed Paula’s sentiments and added that doing all those runs doesn’t help them understand what kind of artist he would be. Simon said that he would make a mistake in thinking that he is contemporary. I’m not sure what that meant, but of course they had to send him through to Hollywood because he’s one of the best singers. Sometimes their criticism is ridiculous. I mean, they let through awful singers with little more than a simple comment. .

T.K. Hash chose to sing John Lennon’s “Imagine” for his American Idol Audition this year. He’s got a great voice with a clear, smooth tone.
Paula said that he can definitely sing and that he sounded even better this year than last. Randy said that he was good but that the song was over the top. Simon said no but everyone else sent him through to Hollywood.
